Internal Software Development
ISK GROUP Technology designs and builds internal software for companies that have outgrown spreadsheets and disconnected tools. We deliver one system your team actually uses every day: ERP modules, MES shop-floor control, document flow, approvals and reporting, all connected to the systems you already run.
Typical timeline
6–16 weeks for a first productive release

What internal software development means
Internal software is the system a company builds for itself rather than buys from a catalogue. Instead of forcing a team into a generic product, we model your real processes: how orders move through production, who approves a purchase, which documents a shift supervisor signs off, and which numbers management checks every Monday morning.
The result is a single source of truth. Data is entered once, at the point where it is created, and every report, notification and integration is generated from that same record. No more copying figures between Excel files, no more asking a colleague for the latest version of a spreadsheet, and no more decisions based on figures that are two weeks old.
What we build
- •ERP modules: procurement, warehouse, sales, finance and inventory in one connected data model.
- •MES solutions: production orders, shift reporting, equipment status, quality checks and material consumption on the shop floor.
- •Workflow automation: approvals, task routing, reminders and escalations that run without anyone chasing them.
- •Client and supplier portals where partners submit and track their own requests.
- •Management dashboards with real-time operational and financial indicators.
- •Integrations with accounting, banking, e-mail, messaging and existing legacy systems.
How a project runs
We start with a short discovery phase: interviews with the people who do the work today, a mapping of the current process, and a written specification of what will be automated first. This phase ends with a scope you can approve before any code is written.
Development then runs in two-week cycles. Every cycle ends with a working build your team can click through and comment on, so priorities are corrected while changes are still cheap. Once the first release is live, we support it, add the next modules, and train the people who will use the system daily.
Technology and maintainability
We build with mainstream, well-documented technologies: a PostgreSQL or Microsoft SQL database, a modern web front end, and an API layer that keeps the business logic in one place. That choice matters after the project ends, because any competent development team can continue the work. You own the source code, the database schema and the documentation.
Access control is designed from the first day: roles, permissions and an audit trail of who changed what. For companies with sensitive data we deploy on your own infrastructure, where the database never leaves your network.
Who this is for
Manufacturing companies replacing paper shift reports, distributors managing thousands of stock items, service businesses tracking contracts and field work, and growing groups that need the same process followed across several legal entities. If your operations depend on processes that a ready-made product does not cover, internal software development is usually cheaper within two to three years than the manual work it removes.
Frequently asked questions
How much does it cost? The price depends on the number of modules and integrations. After discovery we give a fixed price per phase, so you always know the cost of the next release before it starts.
Do we need an in-house IT team? No. We can host, monitor and maintain the system for you, or hand everything over to your team with documentation and training.
What if our processes change? The system is built to be changed: workflows, fields and permissions are configured rather than hard-coded, so adjustments do not require a new project.
